Lutheran Social Services of Alaska serves the needs of others in our community in the name of Christ. Our organization is a faith-based social ministry that is supported by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Alaska Synod (ELCA), the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, the Northwest District of the LCMS, and many caring and concerned congregations and individuals throughout the state. We are a partner agency of the United Way of Anchorage which provides us the opportunity to join with other agencies to address urgent human needs throughout the state of Alaska. We are also a member of the Lutheran Services in America, one of largest health and human service organization networks in the nation.

Serving in the Spirit of Christ, Lutheran Social Services of Alaska provides and supports programs which foster hope, promote well being and honor human dignity in individuals and communities of Alaska.
